Letter from the Editor
This week has been rough. I have an eight month old teether that has decided to have a leaky faucet for a nose and also a double ear infection. Needless to say, there hasn't been a lot of sleep going on at our house. Yes, it's been nice to have a cuddly baby girl wrapped in my arms 24/7, but it also means that not a lot has gotten done on the Macaroni front. Getting Ready for Spring/Summer Outdoor Fun
It's been a long winter for some of us in northern climates, but it looks like it's finally spring and time to get ready for outdoor activities.

Messy but FUN!
Last summer my best friend and I had a plan. Our plan: to have a fun craft/learning project ready for 2-3 days a week. I was pregnant, she had a newborn, and between us we had 3 boys to keep entertained. The first morning of summer break we planned edible finger paints. The Tippecanoe County Public Library has much more than books to offer. Each week the library's branches offer many programs for kids and teens. While many of the programs and events change weekly, the storytimes remain consistant each week.
The Downtown Youth Department offers 3 storytimes especially designed for the age of your child. These stories are delivered throughout the year, but the Library notes that May, August, and December may have limited storytimes.
